Western Kentucky didn't need long to find the Hilltoppers' new football coach, and it's an old name around the program.

University of Tennessee offensive coordinator Tyson Helton has reached an agreement to be the next head coach at WKU, according to ESPN.

Helton, 41, served as the Hilltoppers' offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach in 2014-15 under Jeff Brohm before joining the staff at Southern Cal. He was the Vols' offensive coordinator this past season as a part of Jeremy Pruitt's first staff in Knoxville.
