I just spoke to a source close to JaMarcus Shephard that told me Purdue has in fact reached out to Shephard. I asked if it was about the head coaching job or a possible offensive coordinator position and the source confirmed it was regarding the head coaching vacancy.
As many know, Purdue fans and players have been vocal about wanting Shephard to return to West Lafayette. We have no information on other potential candidates and who has been in contact with Bobinski and Purdue at this time."
