The Cards(W) are a shining light on an otherwise horrible year.

If you haven’t attended a game you are missing out. The play hard, and their fundamentals are much better. IMO

We have an excellent team and it would be a shame not to support them.

And tickets are very reasonable.

I watched yesterday and I must say they are more fun to watch than the men. It also seems like refs let the women play a bit more, you actually have to earn a foul instead if it just being guaranteed every time you go to the lane.

I'm glad we have fans for the girls team, but I just can't watch. So many missed lay ups/put backs etc. Like watching 5 short Mahmouds out there. Glad others like and support the girls.

Good observation. I watched the ND game and thought the same thing. The game has less whistles and flows a little better because of it!

I don’t know when the last time you watched a women’s game, but that doesn’t sound like our team.

Of course it happens, but they’ll never blow a game with .9 seconds left. And the men have had there share of missed shots.

I used to watch the women's game with that perspective. But it changed. Now I watch it with an appreciation for:
  • The absence of prima donnas (ironic considering the female origin of that term)
  • Toughness, the lack of stupid plays, and players trying to do more than they can
  • Players who don't blow through and that I can get to know
  • Players not in the game (and college) for the money
Those are big advantages offsetting the lack of athleticism, which is also improving...

Someone is going to have to explain to me how a women's team can host an NCAA tournament game, but a men's team cannot. If we're going to go all in on gender equity, let the rules be the same.

The men use to be able to host tournament games for years. NCAA women's basketball has not been around as long as the men.

Attendance = money

Strange things would happen in the men's game if attendance falls off...

Attendance. The TV money is there for the NCAA men's tournament whether people show up or not. Same applies for men's basketball tournaments NIT, CIT, and CBI.
