This is still relevant on many fronts. Potentially could improve UofL’s position in “with cause” firing of Pitino as claims McGee was simply a rogue employee. Also leaves questions as to why this information was withheld for so long.
Only thing is relevant we have a new regime in place a BB coach trying to dig this program from out of this mess. Tired of these boulders constantly being thrown on this program. This time from our own school. The NCAA has ruled on this mess gave us our punishment what more do we need to hear or see come from this?
Hank is right. It's all about the money. Pitino and Jurich want to get paid. The university doesn't want to pay them.
Regardless of the politics. We ALL deserve to know the truth. We as fans have suffered thru this crap. We have earned the right to know the truth.
Jurich hasn't filed suit. I'm not opposed to learning additional information. However, it doesn't do or change a thing. It's all in the rear view mirror. We all have to move on, eventually.
It is coming if they can't come to resolution.

I'm glad the clown show is gone for good. Once all of their dirty deeds quit coming up and biting us in the ass, we can move on for good and they will be a distant memory.

I don’t see it improving U of L’s situation. Our contention was McGee acted alone. If Balado was involved then it does imply the university was complicit.
So how do the folks who wanna connect the dots here connect the dot that Belado wasn't on staff when the "Coach Mike" stuff started?
Minor detail, I realize...
Had UofL not cleaned house on the basketball program the news breaking yesterday would’ve been another cinder block throw at our head. However because of the actions taken it is a blip on the radar for the program going forward and quite frankly only helps the university’s position in resolving these lingering legal matters.
You may be correct about the basketball program needing to be cleaned up and I believe we did just that with the firing of Pitino and all of his lieutenants (except Padgett until after the past season). But where the “cabal” crapped in their mess kit was how they went about firing Tom Jurich. Pitino will settle for a relatively small amount in relationship to his contract; however, Tom Jurich will get every dime that is owed to him and if the University continues to screw around with him then he will, at least, double down on the amount that s owed to him. That was a complete cluster f*#k and they were stupid enough to “hire an investigator”. I’m very concerned that snotter, grissom and group are still actually running the show. Although they may have actually gotten lucky with their presidential hire. The jury is still out but it may be a great move for all of us. We shall see.
