November 2012 in the Bahamas, Cards lose to Duke by 5 without Gorgui.
That moment i knew the Cards were going to win the 2013 Title.

With todays loss by 5 without Q, and despite getting nothing from Anas , Donovan,
and VJ, can the Cards get to the Final Four?

Id say no. Big men to inconsistent.
When Mangok and JJ are on, Ray and Anas are off.
When Ray and Anas are on, Mangok and JJ are off.

If Q recovers 100%
Donovan and Adel keep their pace
VJ does anything and most importantly
The 4 bigs ALL are on in the same game, then the Cards can get to the FF.
Until then, its SS or E8.

Jury is out on thus one man. We have to make an effort to use our bigs IN THE PAINT.

It opens up our shooters and it makes us rebound better. If we do that, we will be a special team.

Coach needs to use his bench better.

Adel playing 20 minutes in the secon half is not a good thing for us.

Not a Duke 2012 moment for me, but we did show potential. Definitely FF potential. JJ didn't rebound yesterday, but Mangok showed the most offensive moves I have seen since he arrived in Louisville. Hicks showed flashes that he is starting to get it and Levitch played his arse off. OTOH Mitchell was off his game and King looked overwhelmed. I hope Q does not rush his return to the lineup. It will do us no good down the road.
