Volleyball Climbs to #3 in AVCA Poll

The University of Louisville Volleyball squad climbed two spots in the latest AVCA Coaches poll to #3 i

At 12-0, it is the second best start in Louisville Volleyball history. Back in 2005, the Cards started 20-0.

It sets up a potential top 3 match with undefeated, #2 Pittsburgh on Oct 24th. in the LNFCU if both teams can continue their winning ways. Texas sits atop the latest poll.

Up next for the Cards, a Friday trip to Clemson and then a Sunday match in Atlanta against Georgia Tech.

I agree that both deserve recognition but it was a very short article. Anna DeBeer and Elena Scott are a credit to Louisville parochial volleyball. Let's hope we continue to get the cream of the crop from that group.

I agree Louisville is a hotbed for good volleyball players especially in the parochial school system. Let’s hope we can keep all the good ones home and the ones that leave are on their own when if they return home.
