Video - 'I got your back' and 'family' - fan involvement

Last night, on his radio show, Pitino said that the video was made with the intention that the crowd was suppose to yell back when they say "I got your back' and 'family'. Guess we will have to pay even closer attention this Saturday.

UofL does a bad job of educating its fans as to how to do coordinator cheers or chants.

Seems like it used to fall on the cheerleaders to get that done.

We are the most cheer disadvantaged college team. I suggested years ago they revive the 'UofL, UUofL' cheer and they did. We may do the CARDS cheer once a game besides the end of the fight song. Our cheerleaders are focused on the dance and acrobatics?

They really shouldn't be called cheerleaders. They are dancers and acrobats.

Agreed. If that is the intent if the video - let the fans know. Once it gets started everyone would know. As long as you don't need some wiener on a mic...ok fans every time the band turns around yell go cards...err, duh, cough. That is THE worse attempt to very fans involved maybe ever; especially since it makes no sense. And agreed - the 'cheerleaders' do very little cheer-leading.
