amid all the chatter and noise, let’s not forget to send out a big thank you to our veterans, both living and dead, whose sacrifice helped make this a country where I didn’t have to shoulder a rifle and take the same risks. Those of us who have been insulated from the horrors that have become so very common around the world owe a great debt of thanks to your bravery, commitment, and patriotism. I thank you, my family thanks you, and all Americans thank you.
