I spoke with Huggins-Bruce and he told me the following:
"Louisville is one of my top schools and I talk to Brew (WR coach Gunter Brewer) every day," said Bruce-Huggins with a heavy emphasis on every day.
He also added, "Brew is my dude. I would say the relationship I have with him is the strongest out of everyone recruiting me."
Louisville's deep strike passing game is very attractive to him and he believes he can come in right away and contribute, especially if Tutu Atwell elects to leave early for the NFL draft.
"Their offense is very fast and that's my type of ball," said the three-star from Dillon, South Carolina.
He said that his other top schools are NC State, TCU, USC, VT, and WVU and he plans to make a commitment before the season starts even with the current state of affairs brought forth by the pandemic.
Dave's deliberations: It seems to me that Louisville is in a very good spot right now and the other true contenders are NC State, Virginia Tech and West Virginia. He hasn't visited Louisville yet however so it will be important for the Cards to get him on campus once that becomes an option.
