Derrick Edwards was supposed to commit yesterday. He told me he was going to announce after his virtual tour around seven. I wrote the commitment article with his quotes about how Louisville is home and Frank Ponce and Bryan Brown are like family, yada yada yada. He also told me that he was still going to take his five official visits while still committed. So yeah.
Anyway, it’s obvious that he didn’t commit last night. From what I have been able to dig up, a high school coach down in Miami told him not to commit last night so he didn’t. It happens and honestly is a kid even committed when he said he’s going to take his five official visits anyway? Rhetorical questions aside, Edwards didn’t commit last night but Louisville is still in a good spot at least heading into his official visits.
