UofL female student's response to SI article author

You beat me to it Steels. Just read it, and was about to post it.

If anything, SI, and other news organizations, should look into why/how
the University of Michigan has the 2nd most reported sexual assaults reprted on campus.

Great read here. So proud of this strong, independent young lady's thoughtful response to the SI writer.

This young lady's letter was very well written. She seems like a person anyone would be proud of. I think the premise of her letter lost a lot of steam when she sided with Petrino and Pitino's moral compass. Both of those coaches may have the credentials to get the second chances that were given to them but you can't use them in a letter that supports the treatment of women. Those two coaches are morally bankrupt.

*** Champcat11; since you don't/can't read messages sent to you, but you complain openly about what happens here, I will openly explain exactly what happened. I deleted the underlined portion of your original post and left the first part, which was left "as is" (unedited...YOUR words). None of your words were changed, but some were deleted. The underlined portion is your negative opinion about two of our coaches. You simply can not come to our board and openly call our coaches "morally bankrupt", anymore than a UofL fan can go to your board and openly call out a coach of yours. Additionally, I didn't want the thread to get highjacked due to all of the negative reaction here towards you that surely would have followed your original post. In the private message I sent you, I asked if you would like me to leave your post as I edited it, or delete it altogether, if you didn't feel it expressed your complete opinion. You obviously didn't get or read that message. So...as you wish, I've reverted your post to it's completely original from. Good luck with that. Steelers2012.

I don't know this female who calls herself Dallas but I sure feel like I do. It felt like I was listening to my daughter speaking as I was reading the response she wrote to the hack job Michael Rosenberg took credit for writing.

I bet it burned a little when Michael tried to pee the first time after he read her letter, and yeah, I bet he has already read it. LOL

Great letter I need a daughter-in-law like her, my wife and I would spoil her.

It is just too easily today to write about an issue with no research or facts. Far too many people voice their opinions without facts or research. It is a serious problem in the journalism or social media world. Lives are changed forever on assumptions or allegations. Most people bounce back from these campaigns but for people not doing their due deligince in researching and reporting is happening far too often.

I am sure there are women that haven't been treated great by Louisville athletes but there isn't a cultural problem at Louisville. As far as the coaches go the only people that matter are the two wives and their families. They are ones that had to forgive and more forward which they have done. That isn't a cultural issue at Louisville.
