UofL 2025 Football Schedule

Have to say kind of disappointing schedule. Non conference is three cupcakes and UK. Not much value there.

No telling yet who the better ACC teams will be with another portal period still to come. Clemson will likely be pre season ranked and the next toughest ACC opponents on the schedule are road games.

First six home games should be a snooze.

Louisville has a chance to make the playoff but most likely can't have more than two losses and that would be as ACC champion. The schedule could be very similar to Indiana's this past season if these ACC teams have off years.

Miami like Michigan, Pitt like Washington, SMU like Nebraska.

If the Cards get by Pitt, they should be 5 and 0 going to Miami. Lose this game, the playoff is likely out of reach.

Louisville needed a better non conference opponent than Bowling Green. I was hoping we would start playing some Big 12 teams like Texas Tech, Kansas State, Baylor or even old foes Cincinnati and UCF.

But who knows? Maybe Pitt or VT will be lights out? Maybe SMU will be even better? Same with Miami?

The schedule is more than manageable. Making the playoff has to be the measure of a successful season.

We were supposed to play IU but they chickened out and bought out that series. Thus the 8 home games. Found it strange that the Miami and Clemson games are on Friday night. November slate will be tough. Getting to the ACC championship is the goal. From there, anything is possible.

Despite the extra, softer non-con opponent (as mentioned, that is on IU)…the. Ye weeks SUCK. Having one the first or second week of Nov would have been perfect.

8 home games, nice. That hasn't happened since 2008.

James Madison and Bowling Green will not be the pushovers some think they will be.

I'd also prefer the second bye week come later in the season, but on second thought, the late bye week last year kind of messed up the team's mojo heading into the Stanford game. I'm still pissed about that one.

The November slate will likely make or break the season.

Oh come on, JM and BG are cupcakes, regardless if they're at the upper level of cupcakes. Those games have no merit in determining Louisville's playoff evaluation. They can only hurt the Cards perception, be it a closer than expected Cards win or a blowout Cards win.

And IU pulled out over a year ago, we should be able to find a power conference school to play.

James Madison put up 70 points at Chapel Hill last year in a win against UNC. They have a dynamic QB, who we seem to always have trouble with. And you don't know ball if you immediately discredit a MAC team. BG played Penn St and A&M tough in 24. Also, let's not forget Brohm is capable of a let down game.

I was looking for which one of these would be the annual Brohm WTF game.

If it's one of the early games (and it could be -- Eastern Michigan and Nevada got him at Purdue) that would REALLY suck.

Hopefully the Stanford game will be the last of this Brohm feature. He's honestly to good for that kind of thing.

Very true. Both have beat the big boys before. But it still doesn't change anything concerning Louisville's schedule.

If we blow them out so what? That's expected from a top ACC team. And if we squeak by or win a close game, that too wouldn't be expected from a top ACC team.

Only losing would end it all.
