I will likely root for UNC but would find it funny if the NCAA commish had to hand the trophy to Bill Self who is facing multiple Level 1 violations. Just shows the absurdity of the NCAA
Yes. I want Hubert to beat down Self and those cheating Jayhawks.
UNC has been playing really well lately and need to do it for just one more game. I thought Bacote (Sp?)of UNC really hurt his ankle/foot and would be out for the rest of the tournament but he shook it off and came back in the game leading the Heels to victory.
Wonder how he is doing today and then for tomorrows game. Without him in the game....KU would likely dominate the paint and roll to the W....which I really don't want to happen.

If it is an ankle,sometimes you can get through the initial pain and finish the game like he did with a retape.
It's afterwards that it gets dicey with a sprain. If that's what he did,he may be very limited.
I love NCAAMB so I will watch, but I don't like either program. Do I:
1) root for Kansas, who has 4 Level 1 violations and their coach got a new contract & a raise? And the new contract says Bill Self cannot be fired with cause for NCAA violations?

2) root for UNC, who committed academic fraud with fake classes for 20 years?
Meanwhile we sit, after falling on the sword, and we're 4 coaches later, 2 presidents later, 2 AD's later, no NCAAT wins in years, no appearances in years, a losing season, a full arena is now empty, and no roster going into next year? And the current roster (what's left of it) was in middle school when this all happened? Yeah I'm bitter. The only good thing is my hope that the AIRP (or whatever) sees that time has been served and any penalties handed down in June are symbolic.
To answer your question, I'm rooting for UNC. Only because Bill Self's new contract really pisses me off when I compare that with what Louisville did to Rick Pitino.
This would be hilarious, no doubt. If Kansas wins, then Louisville should take a photo of the commissioner handing Bill Self the trophy and send it to the AIRP and tell them THIS is why that any additional penalties they are considering would be absolute bullshit. And remind them about hte $8m NIL deal for the 5* QB going to Tennessee next year.
Kansas is so good and fun to watch. Typically I want them to win, but man it’s hard to root for Bill Self. Meanwhile, Hubert is easy to root for and has done such a good job. Think I’m rooting for the Tar Heels

How about cheering for UNC because if they win we get a piece of the pie $$$. Yep there’s 220 million dollars at stake and a portion is divided between the teams in the winners conference. The more they win the more they get. So I’ll be cheering on UNC
It's unbelievable how physical this game is. If the refs called all the fouls they should have there would be 5 or 6 guys fouling out.

Yes I recall the first time we played them at YUM. Not hard to see after that game how it is they can play these games with 6 players. Lol
