UK vs short handed Kansas

Nothing new. UofK usually ends up playing one of the better teams on their schedule when they have a player or two hurt. Seems to always happen.
I wonder if the Bragg suspension is related to the girl being raped in the dorm where the basketball players stay?
The KU fans I work with and interact with out here are very nervous about this one.
I've watched both teams play several times this year and have not been overly impressed with either one of them. Both obviously have some really good and talented players that are capable of going off. I’m not really sure how good either one of them are though as a team. I think they both have gaudy misleading records.
Cal and Self both usually have their teams coming together at this point in the season. This year is interesting because you still have Cal throwing some shade at his guys in press conferences. He has players that are worried about getting theirs (see streaky Monk). UK cannot defend well off the bounce, they have no real size to help when they get beat up top, and they have a very limited bench. Excellent transition game though, but I think KU will negate this.
KU has good guard play as well with Mason, Graham and Jackson which I think will cause problems for UK. Mason can stroke it and he can get to the rim. Watch out for Mykhailiuk (#10) from the Ukraine, he can stroke it as well.
We will find out just how good KU is during this current 3 game stretch that includes @WVU (loss 85-69), @UK, and Baylor @ home in Lawrence. They also have to play @ Kansas St. in a few weeks who they beat @ home several weeks ago by 2 on a last second buzzer beater on a missed travel/walk by Mykhailiuk (man they get some good home cooking).
KU is also dealing with the allegations of a 16 year old girl that was raped in the dorm the team b-ball team stays in. The story was released on Wednesday and I find it interesting that it has not gotten more national attention. Wonder why? Rhetorical question.
I think both teams are somewhat overrated and that the guard play will make this one fun to watch. It’s hard to say that both teams are overrated though when there are no teams that have really separated themselves from the rest of the field. Both are getting that "blue blood" love.
I would not be surprised at all if Kansas sneaks out of Rupp with a win. They are coming off of a 16 point loss @ WVU. Kentucky needs it more though. Will we see 2 losses in Rupp this year? One of these teams will get “healthy” tomorrow. Should be a good one.

Could end up deciding a seed line for one of the teams so I wouldn't call it meaningless. Unless every out of conference game is meaningless.
This will tarnish the victory if u k happens to win. Imagine the excuses if Fox had not played against Tennessee. The poor towel boy has been crucified.
Auzuike being out hurts them more. Bragg has not delivered anywhere close to what they thought he would this season. They have made up for it. Mostly due to their schedule.

Maybe, I can never keep up with the all the conspiracy theories. I think at one point he was passing out those magical debit cards with Phil Knight to the "runners". Idk what a runner is but apparently that's who UK gives the debit cards to in order to get all these players.
BUT........BUT............this is going to be the best regular season game of all basketball season
I thought both teams did a good job of taking each other out of what they wanted to do. Nice move by Self to go zone. If not for Willis, UK loses by double digits.
Neither team played great and both are overrated.
Bad passes, bad fouls by KU down the stretch, and bad defense especially UK. Just not smart basketball.
You take away Monk and you give yourself a great chance to beat UK. Not surprised at all with outcome.

Beat UNC by 3 and took Monk going off for 47. I said it then and will say it again now. UK is overrated. Everyone was hyped and excited (scared the heck out of some UofL fans) when Monk went off, but this is Cal's weakest defensive team. They are awful. You cannot consistently win with just transition basketball.
I swear watching them is like almost watching a team that isn't coached. They have no scheme whatsoever. The defense is non existent and they have not gotten any better since the beginning of the season. Lucky for them they play in the sec and can hide for a while.

A lot of their fans starting leaving early, just like UofL fans do. And I thought that didn't happen at co-rupt arena. This was one of the worst coached games I've seen in a long, long time. Self called the zone and he learned that from what UofL did do the cayuts back in December.
