Good (shooting) team could have beaten them today. Lost their composure a bit too with physicality. Rumor that they don't like to play a physical game appears to be accurate. Cracks in the foundation?

It'll take a great shooting team that likes to play physical to beat UofK. They are 36-0 now and 4 wins away from perfection, but these next 4 potential wins will get more difficult with each passing game. The pressure is going to build and build and build, AND Calipari has a history of making poor coaching decisions at crucial moments in big games. UofK might have enough talent to overcome the coaching ineptness though. They're solid.

If the game wasnt in the KFC center today, SuCkS would
have lost, and we'd be talking about the biggest choke
since the john wall loss to WVU.

They wont win the title.

Their standard has gotten so high that a double digit win where they weren't threatened in the last 12 minutes looks bad. That could turn out to be too much pressure for a young team to deal with.

I just don't think they played well. UC is not very good. They looked like they rebounded well against a much bigger UK team and they got a lot of open shots that they just didn't make. A hot shooting team could have beaten them today, especially when the game got crazy and UK got technical. Crowd won't be quite as intimidating in Cleveland, but strong.

First time I've watched UK since they shanked us. I liked Cincy's tough edge but thought KY held up pretty well considering that isn't their strength. KY looked very tall and long in the post and they have shooters. Not sure how many blocks or challenges but seemed like 3 dozen. Harrison can throw them from afar and the team can shoot. They're very solid at the free throw line and they are gonna get their share of those and some of yours.

IMO, they'd beat that Cincy team 9 outta 10...No shame for the Bearcats, they came to play with nothing really to lose.

I'm not saying UK is gonna go undefeated, hard to do and that kinda pressure mounts. BUT, I haven't seen any other team that would win a 5 game series against them. And yes, I know it only takes one.

Sooo somebody, not sure who that is either, better go off on the offensive side and hope to hell UK has an off night.

Go Cards!

I totally agree you the man!!!!!!

I've said all season, UK is unbeaten but not unbeatable. I don't believe we will ever see an unbeatable team. However, this team has so many weapons... even with poor shooting, they controlled the game.

As we've seen with close games to UGA, LSU, and others... it will take a team with good inside and outside presence. UK having an off night will help too. But with so many weapons and their rotation, that is a tall order.

I don't think pressure is an issue though. They seem relaxed and well coached. I think Cal has prepared them well. Doesn't mean they won't or can't lose, of course. That is the great thing about this tourney, all it takes is one.

However, if I were betting, I'd put money on 40-0

Well coached. I love how these kids go through four years with a high school coach and sometimes more years with an AAU coach and yet guess who shows up after seven months of coaching at the Draft to take credit. This is the same coach who ended the year losing to WVU and teams who finished 4th and ninth in their conference before beating KY. Huggy had one top 100 player and best Cal senseless. UK not only had nine AA's but half of them were top ten players. I think there are a lot of coaches who could take this bunch and win. I forgot losing to the worst seed in the NIT. Without WWW Cal would be coaching Florida Southeast A&I.

before you risk losing with nine mcD all americans, you have to have a coach who can recruit nine mcD all americans.

That's not a problem when said coach is nothing more than a glorified bagman for the AAU circuit and the flesh peddler William WWW Wesley.

Don't get your hopes up people, there just aren't many good teams in college basketball this year and it comes in a year when the slapdicks are loaded, they can be beat, but don't be surprised if they don't look better every game the rest of the way. I'm a fan of whoever they play but it'll be a bigger surprise to me if they lose than if they win.
