They have made it known they want Padgett as coach. But I don't know if keeping any of Ricks staff around would be fair to Padgett, Admin might not be as welcoming too him.

Let's hope their opinion is considered. Right now, nobody at UofL has it worse than them. RP and TJ at least have a ton of money, but these guys just started a school year and have to live with the consequences of the bad decisions made by the people who were supposed to be guiding and supporting them.

These guys qualify for letters of release and should be granted if requested. The University had little choice with Pitino, but I think Jurich was a huge mistake. This will not be seem less and may be nearly as bad as the death penalty by the time it’s said and done. Recruits are bailing from the 19 class and the 18 class will request letters of release. I know it sounds good to bail on Jurich but it’s going to bite us on the a$$. This couldn’t have happened at the worse time of the year to look for a coach not to mention what’s the NCAA going to do. Damn shame.

I am an IU fan, but have enjoyed UL basketball for a long time. Jurich is a terrific AD and has done amazing things for your school, but there is no way he could stay on with this scandal following right behind the strippers. From a distance, the entire situation has an appearance of "loss of institutional control". The AD always owns that one.

The mess with James Ramsey set the tone for this. The situations with Haley Jurich at Addidas and Mark Jurich on the foundation payroll while Tom was on the foundation board smacks of insider connections.
