I don't have a problem with how the ticket office is doing the resale for the remaining ticket game packages. I do have some issues with how they go about it to the long time holders though. My family and I are season ticket holders for basketball and football(and I guess baseball now too?) and the ticket price increases, albeit not by much, every single year. We even went out to Omaha to support the baseball Cards, we've always been big baseball fans, but the packages sold through the school were outrageous. Yet the university always boasts about how much money athletics makes. That's all I hear about. "X" amount of money made off this, "X" amount of money made off that. Why do the football season ticket prices continue to increase then? And with basketball? And why did my family and I drive 10 hours to Omaha to get tickets for EIGHT dollars, yes 8!, when the university was selling them for 30+ in every CWS game?!? My point is this...if the university makes so much money off athletics, and they do make that money because they constantly tell us they make that much money, why isn't it more fan friendly to the long time season ticket holders in basketball and football? Again, don't have a problem with them reselling the flight deck tickets to the non season ticket holders, just think they've kind of been screwing the long time holders the past few years. Just my thoughts boys, looking forward to Saturday and the rest of the season. Go Cards.
