Tyran Stokes Visiting Uk

I have gotten use to Louisville kids going elsewhere just like the 2 girls from Sacred Heart. One went to Notre Dame and one to LSU. I hope Johnson enjoys playing for the nut job of a coach at LSU. They lost quite a few players so it looks like they won’t be the team she was expecting. The same with Notre Dame it looks like their whole team is gone.
The players realized no matter how many star players they have it wasn’t going to help because they don’t have a championship caliber coach. I’ve posted before most college students end up living in the town they went to college in. That is where their business network is.

I hope Stokes ends up at Louisville but if he doesn’t he is non existent to me. Just like any Louisville product who goes elsewhere. Don’t come home and act like you’re a celebrity here you have become someone else’s celebrity.

Leah Macy went to Mercy and moved to southern Ky for her last year. She wasn’t ever going to come here. Stokes - my understanding is he has a half-brother playing at UofL. I guess he is originally from here; not sure how many ties he truky still has to Louisville though.

These guys are going to visit a lot of places and see how much $ they can get. You gotta really be into it to follow it, I just check in to see who signs and what the final roster is. I think what makes it tough on fans that follow it is somebody from Twitter pretends to know where they are going and when they constantly list Louisville in the beginning and the final running it becomes agonizing for the fan following it. All the photo OPs, rumors, moving parts. Good luck.

He's a top guy in the 2026 class. i would definitely expect Stokes to take a bunch of visits just to see what's out there and who's offering what.

Stokes is shaping up to be a carbon copy of Rajon Rondo and Deangelo Russell. Once they leave Louisville they figure out they can already live without it. But honestly whoever is handling his recruitment is playing it EXACTLY like I would be playing it if I were his Dad or advisor. High dollar NIL spending hometown school that is a premium Adidas school followed by the other highest dollared Adidas school in KU followed by a High dollar NIL spending featured Nike school in UK. Follow that with Duke then finish with BYU and you have an arms race that looks like an auction with the biggest spenders in the sport.

I still hope UofL is a winner.

But I no longer have skin in the game. I have turned my lifetime FB seats over to my brother as I’m 600 miles away.

And I refuse to “donate” money for pro sports.

If we win we win. If we don’t we don’t.

There’s always fishing.

And watching WWE pro wrestling...that seems to be more real these days. Less drama and better athletes especially the woman's division! o_O ;) LoL.
