Total rip off!

Alright Beasley. I understand basketball. Please trust me on that one. Adel is playing at a high level under one of the best coaches to do it at a top flight program. He is learning.

I was trying to help you understand why Pitino runs the weave up top. It serves several different purposes one I explained above.

We can have opinions and thoughts on the game and team for sure, but we have to remember that Coach Pitino has a style and philosophy that he likes on offense/defense and that he knows his team and each individual players skill set better than us. He is "hall of fame Ricky" as you like to call him. It doesn't mean every decision he makes is right or wrong but he has style or philosophy that works for him. You have to admit he is pretty good.

Pitino plays the long game his way right or wrong and it works for him.

I get it. You want the team to win. We all do, but they lost by 5 points on the road in a tough environment against a pretty good team.

Did they have opportunities to win today? Yes

I'm sure every game Pitino goes and back and critiques some of the decisions he makes during a particular game. All coaches do.

The team will learn from this and get better.
Agree with this post 100%

Hopefully we learn from it and improooooove.

Hopefully we increase the paint touches and with it improve our outside shot selection.

Everyone grab a straw the S&&& getting deep in here. I vary rarely if ever blame the refs but to say your guys know how to play defense without fouling is complete BS. You do know your talking to UL fans about BB?

It was an amazing comment on his part. It was condescending on a few levels.

I understand you're upset that the Cards lost and yes I realize I am posting on a Louisville board. Perhaps I'll stop posting. Point is I rarely pin a loss on the officials. Today Louisville had 26 fouls called on them while FSU had 19 fouls called on them. That's seven more. Biased? Well, consider when FSU played North Carolina one week ago we were whistled for 27 fouls to 22 fouls called on North Carolina which is five more. Point is fouls are called when they are called. Sometimes they are obviously the right call, sometimes they are obviously the wrong call and other times they are purely a judgement call. I rarely make a post that is inflamatory and that isn't what I am doing here. But you're not going to hear me say "Yeah, the officials were out to rob Louisville and that is why we won." Maybe I should just post on Warchant and avoid visiting this board in the future.
Come on now with the I'm hurt BS. What do you expect from your opponents board after a tough loss? It's a wonderful thing you not pinning a loss on officiating. We all can't be so perfect. Besides, I didn't pin the loss on piss poor inconsistent refs. Louisville had several chances to win the game late. But there's no doubt the Cards were getting the short end, especially on rebound and loose ball fouls. Anas had no chance in this game. His strengths were totally negated by two BS fouls and then two more just seconds after he entered the game. He had more fouls than minutes. Our starting center.

What you FSU fans should really be thinking about is how close you came to losing to a team with so many disadvantages in this game. The Cards were without Snider, playing 38 hours after their last game and on the road to a team tired of losing to Louisville. There's no doubt in my mind we would have won if Snider played. I hope so much we face off in the ACC tournament.

inconsistent whistles and inconsistent decisions cost the Cards a road game. Nothing new here folks.
Fatigue cost us this game.
No way Adel should have played 20 minutes in the second half and VJ not get a sniff after starting.

Our bigs never get established in the paint and are often at midcourt.

Either that changes or we will witness a very short season.

Exactly what happened when anas touched the ball at the top of the key? Johnson? Mangok?

We were pushed out to midcourt on offense. If you do not understand how that affects the flow than you need basketball 101 courses beside Adel.

I am just a fan that finds it hard to swallow that we do not use our bench like we should. We have a size advantage over everybody and never use it.
Now I know you just don't know how to watch the game and comprehend what you are seeing. You do realize that Levitch and Hicks are bench players, Mango as well since Anas started. Our bench at one point outscored FSU something like 36-10 when it is well known that Hamilton rotates two lineups. You're the only one who needs basketball 101, maybe pre-101 in your case.

Well you cant read or simply wish to try to be adverserial.

My quote is that mango and adel played too many minutes and in fact when. They were on the bench in the forst half we made our run and got within 2 points.

So please make your point clear?

Again it has been explained more than a dozen times. Mahmoud made some stupid fouls, reaching in on a guy backing down and Mitchell was in foul trouble the whole game and even when he was in there he wasn't playing well. So I assume You want Matz in there who hasn't played in several games because of concussion protocol and being out of game shape. And put King in there instead of Adel. Right now King provides offense and not much else so he goes 0-4 doing his own thing and that merits more minutes? Enlighten me. Instead of saying Adel and Mango should be on the bench tell me who you would've played AND why.

And you should think about the fact that UL was FSU's sixth game in a row against a ranked team.

Adel playing the entire second half hurts the team. He was not fresh and his shot was off because of that fact.

He and Hicks combined to shoot 10/30 from the floor.

I dont know if you understand how bad that is, but that is the ballgame.

Ballgame - so Mitchell scoring 7 points less than his average had nothing to do with the outcome? Only Adel and Mango playing too many minutes. I now realize why I read your posts... I need a good chuckle...

If you actually read my posts, i addressed mitchel.

Hopefully we actually use our bench and develop depth. We need it. That was displayed at FSU. We need to use our depth.

I believe some losses are great lessons and that we learned a lot with this loss.

We have a special team and have a chance to do something special.

It is my hope as a louisville fan that we divide the minutes and keep players fresh and use our size advantage in the PAINT.

If that is wrong then so be it, but that is my stance.
