For 30 years of coaching I have always been fascinated to attend practices and try to learn from coaches.

I have always been AMAZED at how nice and accommodating coaches were about it.

I have been able to attend practices of Pitino, Mack, Scotty D, Jeff Walz, Paul Sanderford, and other WKU coaches. Bobby Knight had an open practice and coaches clinic in the 90s--that was a treat. for sure.

I emailed the whole staff, including Milt and Reece and Perez, weeks after KP was hired, "hey, life-long U of L fan-love to attend practice or a workout some time"

No one bothered to email me back. Sent it again. Same.

Would have taken 10 seconds to just say "Sorry coach-we have closed practices at this time."

I'm a completely nobody, 100%. I get that. But EVERYONE else has corresponded back, been unbelievably nice.

Coach Walz's staff emailed me back in 5 minutes.

I didn't have a player that could help us. I get it. All good. I'm a big boy

But it's the only coaching staff I have ever had to completely blow me off.

Still, I showed up to games, with optimism......knew Bellarmine would be tough on us, but then Lee Ann Rhimes???

Now I hear mumblings and rumors about the staff not communicating and not following up, doing due diligence,,,'

Josh Heird, where are you???
