Remember when Indiana hired Crean? Yes they had some NCAA trouble too, but they brought in their 3rd coach post-Knight (like us and Pitino.

He came in with a bad roster and went 6-25. The next year 10-21. Year 3? 12-20.

They were sold that Crean was building something. They were patient. Then he got back to back Sweet 16 teams after a build. Then it fell right back down.

SOMETIMES you just can know pretty quickly if it works. We have no choice but to let it play out, but early returns are looking bad.

I find it so funny that when Payne retained the better players off last years team how the fan base crowed all hail KP! Now all of sudden the entire roster are bums and it’s not Paynes coaching or fault.

tom crean always sucked as a coach, he had dwayne wade. just like cal had davis. sometimes a player outplays his coaching. crean has sucked everywhere he has gone adn made that program worse

Crean may be an upgrade, at least he won his first two games at Indiana lol

i for one expect an 13-19 campaign. not sure why anyone thinks differently as our new HC has never coached before and the entire coaching staff is new. let the cake bake for a moment, we're two shots away from being 2-0. i think in general the players are learning still, instead of practicing. like they're still thinking instead of jsut doing it naturally. again there were no reasons or any signs to believe we would be any good this year. should improve next year and in year three after he has some recruits we should be top 20. but this year they are learning to crawl, not even walk

2 shots away from Bellarmine and Wright State. We also lost and struggled to Division II teams.

Not saying way looked great last season, but it’s 20 times worse now?
