Great game and we were picked at the bottom of the ACC. Hell yes look out!
This isn’t the Mack or Kenny Payne led Cardinals, this is the Coach Kelsey led University OF LOUISVILLE F@CKING CARDINALS! When the Pitt players began trash talking Hadley and their ignorant West Virginia East fans began doing the L’s down, Louisville locked in. So now if I am correct, Louisville should have three Quad one wins on their resume come tournament time. Speaking of the whole over played lame ass L’s down, it’s amazing how something started by a inbred, couch burning, underachieving fan base as spread throughout college sports.
This team is just relentless. What an incredible bunch of players and coaches. We snagged the right coach at the right time.

We were actually picked 9th, middle of the league.
I just finished watching the game I recorded it because I was traveling . Exciting game and a really good win in a hostile arena. This is a blue collar team with talent and attitude who get their energy from their coach.
Just another reminder that Kenny Payne can kiss our collective a$$es. The man is a charlatan.

Did anyone else see or hear the bias the way I heard it at halftime? When they were showing the highlights from the SEC, yhe announcers made sure to point out that the SEC was a “meat grinder” or whatever analogy he used. But when he was talking about the ACC he said that it was Duke and everyone else. This bias, this perception that the ACC is only one or two teams has now infected college basketball. Like I said during football season, the perception of the ACC will not change nationally until the ACC itself starts showcasing all of its teams not just the “Tobacco Road” teams.
Not to long ago the ACC had the best coaches in college basketball but that has changed. I am glad we made the CPK hire because it looks like a good one. I think you are seeing the SEC and B1G bias in every sport because ESPN is promoting them. They are pushing all of this realignment and everything else so they have to make it works or they are out money.
But ESPN is still going broke. Their formula isn’t working. I suspect there will be a financial crash in college sports in the next few years.
Disney is taking losses as well I don’t see how this ends well for them.
That is for sure. Movies are bombing left and right in Hollyweird. I believe even Mufasa got beat out by Sonic the Hedgehog 3 at the box office.Not to mention all of its shows that have been cancelled after one season. Disney is definitely bleeding cash right now.
Disney reported fiscal year net income of $7.6B and their sport entertainment segment contributed nearly $1B to that number. They aren’t going broke although they have had some operational challenges of late.
It's not bias when it is basically true, at least this year. 9 SEC teams in top 25 and not even including Georgia who beat the kitties...

E$PN pumps up the $EC. We, the ACC, are the network’s red headed step child. All of their marketing goes into the $EC. Only the Tobacco Road schools get sunshine. Florida State found that out the hard way.
Kelsey has won the fans over through this stretch. Now we see if he can keep it going through a softer part of the schedule. Really hoping the team can stay the course. Long way to go.

In terms of financials, ESPN/Disney pay big money for FOOTBALL and basketball is just a perk to fill programming the rest of the year. They have the rights to all SEC and ACC games. The ACC and SEC both have a network with ESPN. There’s not more incentive to promote one over the other. In all honesty, ACC basketball overall would draw better ratings if our teams were winning.

Now it's time to see if the ACC can counter.
I'm not optimistic overall, but why would I really care about WF or BC NIL? We just got a 5* guy so maybe our NIL can compete.
Honestly it is what it is but all that matters is NCAA results. Ironically enough, the ACC has outperformed the B10 and SEC the last 2 years in the tourney with higher seeded teams!

I don't get the whole L's down reaction. Texas fans have been putting up with 'horns downs" for literally forever. It means nothing.
Yeah, it's not a bias citing the truth. The ACC is Duke and everyone else. Only four ACC teams are expected to make the big dance. The ACC was 2 and 14 against the SEC in the recent challenge.
They are definitely pro SEC at ESPN, but they don't need a bias calling out the ACC when comparing it to the SEC.
I'll be honest i couldn't care less about the whole conference as long as we are taking care of our business. I mean we've done well in the Missouri Valley, Metro, Conference USA, AAC, and Big East as far as tournament results go.
I know football is a totally different deal...
Maybe so but it’s just stupid and played out at this point. I will play Devils Advocate and say it’s fine when UK does it because we are rivals and that comes with being in a rivalry game. But for teams like Miami, Pitt, and insert whatever team we are playing just looks stupid on TV.
