Bobby had a team in this much disarray it was the Falcons, and he snuck out the back door in the middle of the season. Will he do that again?

He's like Tiger Woods -- needs infidelity to motivate himself. It's like his crack-cocaine to succeed. I'm not joking with this comment, either. Look at the similarity between the two and their career trend(s).

What makes you think he’s stopped?

To our knowledge, he has had one instance of infedilty, and that led to his downfall at Arkansas. Prior to that, he was very successful at Louisville and Arkansas without infedilty as far as we know. Seems Petrino was most successful before any infedilty. So...not buying the correlation.

I think part of BP’s mojo was left on the field in Death Valley last year. Bobby is a bright football mind but he’s not the same coach and leader.

Interesting, I wondered how that year would have ended of we won that game.

Karen Sypher is out of jail. Think she would be interested?

Tennessee just lost to South Carolina. With first and goal at the 2 with about 50 seconds left in the game. No runs for power.back John Kelly.

UT is AT Alabama next week. I would say they are a.loss.to UK or Vanderbilt from knocking on the door.....no matter the buyout.

AND.....Ol Miss has officially opened their.head coach position for applicants, AND....should Orgeron hold on and lose this game today, I wouldn't be surprised if he is asked to move into the broadcast booth for the SEC network.

So you guys wishing for a change may get your wish

Yeah, I bet that the ADs from LSU, Tennessee and Mississippi are booking their flights now to Standiford Field so they can try to snatch up the head coach of a team that just lost to Boston College at home and has won just 2 of their last 10 games to teams not named Kent or Murray.

UT will ask Petrino, the only question is when.

Don't bet against it. LSU lost to Troy State at home, Ol Miss is in full rebuild mode, and Tennessee will pay whatever they have to find someone to get them back up to competing for the SEC East title.
Being the coach of one of the best players in twenty years anywhere doesn't hurt.

Look, BP is a great offensive mind but his current team is an absolute mess and has been for almost a calendar year, even with the incredible Lamar Jackson doing everything.

Not sure his name is exactly buzzing in the head coaching market of teams in the SEC, especially ones with rich traditions.

True as far as the best player in 20 years. But what has he done with that player, absolutely nothing. Jeff Brohm might be moving to the SEC I’m not sure Bobby is but at this point who cares.

Brohms name certainly comes up, as does Neal Brown......especially when UK loses. Les Myles should get a call from somebody.
Petrino's biggest stumbling block back to the SEC is still Arkansas. He's done a good job of rehabbing his pr image though.
A win next game will put most of this kind of thought train back in the box though.

You’re extremely positive thinking a team that couldn’t beat BC at home can go on the road and beat FSU. Actually I’m not sure how we beat anyone left in our schedule. I’ve seen nothing out of D to give me encouragement that they can stop anyone. Without our D stepping up we won’t win, Not in the ACC.

Thing is you have the best athlete in the College game at the helm. Breaks and timing mean a lot in football. Louisville has only been really beaten in one game....and at that time Clemson was likely the best in the nation.
I don't think ANY game the Cards have left is unwinnable.
One thing I will put out there....love it or hate it. Because the offense is so quick strike, the thin defense has a lot of time on the field. Dunno if Petrino would unleash a short pass attack (can lessen the time the offensive line has to stand in) or if that is even an option. I know Louisville chewed UK up with the TE last year.

Never mind on Tennessee. Number this morning is 14 million to buy out Butcher, 8 million to buy out Petrino.
Big money if you consider they are paying the last AD, the current AD, likely still Dooley where they fired him and hired Lane Kiffen for one year.

maybe it was his brother paul who was the genius
There you go.

PP was the enforcer.

It was showing the first two years, and has become obvious the last 4-6 era.

There is not ONE part of this FB team that resembles anything we ever saw from CBP1.

Nothing.

He is a different guy, and he’s looking more inept every game.
