The ACC IS TERRIBLE in bowl games

CUES won by 17 as a -18.5

Miami took Ward out early 3rd. Why play him at all? 🤷‍♂

But mostly sucked

NCST just got a HUGE referee phuk up in their favor to probably beat ECU. ECU got majorly reemed and had a go ahead TD taken away with about 2 minutes to go

I still hate the acc.

OMG….ECU just had an 86 yd TD run with 1:33 left. Should win.

You know I never really had the same "conference" mojo in football that I had with basketball. It's probably due to the higher amount of conference games, and you play every team.

And I don't have it for the ACC at all. I could care less if NC State or BC win unless I need them in my 6 leg parlay. 🤫

I hope all the pricks lose except us.

Give em more reason to hate us.

Take it with a grain of salt but the announcers said he took himself out.

I believe this regular season’s ACC overall was as strong in football from top to bottom as it has ever been; depending on time and situations it looked like SMU, Miami, Clemson, Louisville could have competed with most any SEC or BIG team. I would add that Syracuse, GT, Duke and BC made the ACC most respectable when healthy.

However, this Bowl season exposed the ACC as a victim of injuries, skill players opting out and it’s own self-inflected disappointing performances.

I think it exposes their limited rosters. The quality of depth isn’t good. Look at USC the last 2 years their depth at receiver is ridiculous. They lose 2-3 guys that are top 20 in the portal no problem.

North Carolina starting QB gets hurt they basically had to go to playing running back at QB.

What is really surprising is how bad the defenses are in the bowl games.

I don’t think winning really matters but you better see what your young guys can do. It can completely change how you manage the portal.

I didn’t hear that until this morning.

He’s a turd.

He dangled the carrot in front of his teammates and fans instead of just saying “I’m out” and letting them know in advance they would probably lose.

Miami did not take Ward out early. Ward played just long enough to break a D1 record and opted out after half time. He didn’t want to play anymore.

The TV captured a brief glimpse of just how dysfunctional Miami’s football team is, when it showed the two players exchanging blows on the sidelines and oblivious coaches doing nothing. Cristobal had an incredible array of talent on the roster, but underachieved. As long as Ward was on the field, it was possible that Miami could out score most opponents, but despite the exceptional athleticism, the staff could not figure out how to defend on that side.
