So many penalties. At one point the refs were going to mark off 35 yards worth of penalties on Rice from one play.

At one time the officials would not tolerate players exhibiting any of the behavior after a play has ended, which may be one of the contributing factors that results in extracurricular activity.

Was surprised that Texas State #23 wasn’t ejected after he threw a punch. Then sure enough he did get ejected after a second personal foul. The refs were definitely being too lenient in that game.

On a positive note, Minnesota proved they could compete in the MAC. Sorry, I couldn't resist.
