Cards recently wrapped up practice and are now signing autographs for fans at the stadium.

The park is a beauty. It is a mini big league park with all of the amenities. It's going to be a great atmosphere. Louisville vs IU is sold out.

The park plays very big. 335 down the lines and 408 to CF. It's a lot like Patterson; however, the wind was blowing in today during BP and not many balls crossed the outfield wall for any team. Pitching and defense will be key.

If Louisville can get some balls in the gaps we will hit a ton of triples.

Again, this late in the season it is about execution and staying focused. Can't wait to see all the cards fans at the game tomorrow.

Two great links, guy! Now we, as fans, need to rein in our optimism and take the game against the Hoosiers in stride. If we let up for a minute, we're toast. If we bring our A game......

"Play ball'...the last two words of the National Anthem will be sung tomorrow night at 8:00.

can't wait either. Glad games begin and the focus is now on baseball instead of everything around the CWS.

On a side note, IU hits about 70% singles and Louisville is about 74%. This means that in this game the park is more suited for our offense as IU relies on the long ball and gap shots.

Vandy did have a lot of success running against us last weekend and I would expect the trend to continue this week until we prove otherwise.
