I predicted before the season that no ACC team would go undefeated in conference play.

The Cards have one more ACC (and only one) road game left, at Miami. The remaining games are at L & N.

Duke plays at FSU Saturday. Either FSU or Duke will rack up their first ACC loss.

After the Cards, Duke still has to play UNC in Chapel Hill. Either Duke or UNC will rack up a conference loss.

UNC finishes their season at Clemson then at NC State which are tough environments.

Clemson plays at Miami Saturday. One of those teams will lose their 3rd conference game, likely be out of the ACC race and be motivated to win out for a better bowl.

Miami plays at FSU the week before Miami hosts U of L. Either Miami or FSU will rack up a conference loss when they meet.

FSU has the best chance of running the table but has to beat Duke at home, win at Wake, win at Pitt then beat Miami at home.

Rivalry games are tough and the 3 ACC conference undefeateds have yet to play their big in-state ACC rivals. UNC has two rivalry games, Duke and NC State.

The only common opponent for UNC, Duke, FSU and U of L is Pitt. UNC beat them and we lost to them. Duke and FSU play Pitt later.

The ACC championship game is not out of the Cards' reach yet. However (1) we must win the rest of our ACC games and (2) we need FSU and/or UNC to lose 2 ACC games. We need to cheer for everybody who plays them.

Let's Play Football! Go Cards! #L1C4
