tonight.

Very impressed with his development and play. Loved seeing him hit those foul line jumpers. He already has improved his baby hook shots so much, a reliable jumper would make him even more dangerous. His work on the boards, blocks, and the deflections are great and round out his overall game.

Tonight against ND: 23 pts, 12 rebs, 2 assists, 2 steals. Great job!

Ray is turning the corner, he's become a lot more assertive with the ball on the block and is playing with a ton of confidence.

He just needs to avoid fouls. I think he knows he has to stay in the game for this team to have a chance to beat a quality opponent.

Right, Hop, a big key was that Ray didn't pick up any fouls until later in the game. When he gets saddled with one or -god forbid- two quick ones it hurts his game and the team overall.

I feel like he is also taking his time when making moves in the post, whereas earlier he tended to rush and fling the ball at the hoop.lol

Love seeing Ray's confidence grow as the season goes on and knowing that he can be a "go to" guy in the blocks. He is our best front court player by far, and if he can continue to develop that mid-range jumper to go along with the post moves, watch out!

he has really been put in a position to show off some skills. being used in the high post opens up the drive/pass/shoot option and he really took advantage of some soft D to hit those jumpers (so nice to have him and Anas there for that triple threat), posting up on the wing, and always in good rebounding position. the guy is getting some good coaching, putting in the reps, and has a passion on the court.

not a whole lot more we can ask, and if it continues will get him nicely to the next level.

He's clearly wanting the ball now.

In the past, he's kind of hoped for it, just seems his mentality and confidence is showing up big here - he wants to be the go to guy and he's not afraid to kick it out to the open man if he's covered.
