Not sure it is a sellout but quite a few fans to see Charlie open up against Wisconsin. It was pretty loud as well until Jonathan Taylor broke a 37 yard TD on their first possession. Justin Burke is the TE coach for USF. Jean-Mary is the DC.

I’ll always root for Justin Burke but Charlie has not been getting anything done since 2013, minus Quentin Flowers.
In college it is amazing especially in football how much elite team guys impact a program. College ride those players to new jobs.
Teddy Bridgewater got him the Texas job. He was a really good defensive coach but Teddy made his offense. He was perfect for Louisville at that time and had it rolling. However, I am not sure he could of maintained his success because he clearly has flaws as a head coach.

Little harsh but essentially the truth. Perhaps why he wasn’t given an opportunity earlier but his success with TB made teams give him a chance. He always looked like a deer in the headlights when things weren’t going well.
I think there needs to be a willingness to open up the playbook to truly succeed at a high level. There will be times for a conservative approach for sure, but overall you gotta be willing to take some chances, and develop players on both sides of the ball, using the talent you have on both sides.

Charlie resurrected the program after the nightmare of CSK. I will always be grateful for that just like I am grateful for CJLS. He had winning records before Teddy, and it was that incredible defense, with multiple future draft choices, that really made his teams tick. You could see that most clearly in the SB, where we stood toe-to-toe with a very physical Florida team and beat them most of the game. He instilled toughness, and that won a lot of games. I’m sorry to see him struggling. However, Wisconsin is a handful.
No doubt Wisky is a beast agreed.
I think overall the top coaches adjust to the times. There was a time Saban was smash mouth now we see he's opened things up. Oh yeah it helps to have THAT talent.

Other than that, I'm grateful for what he did. The Sugar Bowl win was one of the most important in school history. Then he left. Since he left we've great seasons (and one really bad one), a Heisman trophy winner and I'm happy with who we have now.

I just remember UCF running Storm Johnson on delayed draws and Bortles hitting his Tight End on a swing route time after time in the 2nd half, up and down the field and our defense couldn’t stop either one.
It was depressing. You knew if we scored and left any time on the clock, we were screwed.
