Sources say Matz Stockman............

He is still a 7' who can rebound and give up 5 fouls if need be. I still say wait and see what he can do for this years team before writing him off as a nothing and never will be.

CRP see's something in him or he would no longer be then team as a scholarship player. I have faith in his judgement of talent. As said before.....time will tell.
I actually think he has way more upside than SVT had and while some people may not think that says much, he was a major contributor before leaving the Cards.

defense and rebounding is a serious need for this team, and I will cheer my rear end off to see this young man excel because that will mean this team is special.

Again I could be terribly wrong but I think it was more about trying to play catch up with Mango. In fact, he started the game over Anas.

I think you are probably correct, but BU played a small line up, so that is not Matz' strong suit.
I would love nothing more than to have some type of comeback, but I am perplexed. We have (4) 7 foot players and were not able to handle them or over power them. We were not able to handle weslyan either.
I hope that I am just pissed off as an ex player seeing 5 foot players handle our 7 footers, I hope it is just pre season stuff. Otherwise, we are in for a very long season of medicrocy.

I could just be dumb as hell believing a 7 foot player should be able to DOMINATE a 5 foot player on the block, not shoot a finger roll, but dunk the ball. Rebound with both hands and not fumble the ball like it is lava.

color me pissed off.
unimpressed
and wondering what is happening that a 7 foot player is dominated by 5 foot players like ours are.

Most time smaller players are quicker, while bigger players are slower. Just like in football, speed kills.
it is disappointying to see a 7 foot guy get stopped on the block by a 5 foot guy. That is coaching, desire, and just plain ridiculous.
Hopefully this year is not so bad, but from the evidence of our post play, we will be lucky to make the NIT.

Sources are saying Matz Stockman is a much improved player and will have an incredible year. He is not sulking and pouting, but is hungry to block shots, and rebound.

Matz will have a gourgi type of year for us defensively.

Lets go Cards.

Better go check those sources. Looks like they were putting out bad information

This is ridiculous - year three of David Padgett working with our centers and they can't even rebound or stand up. High school teams have better post play than we do. Our post play is an embarrassment to organized basketball because their splits are too wide. If we had Western Kentucky's post players we would go undefeated and win the title.

PADGETT NEEDS TO BE SACKED IMMEDIATELY! As long as he is here, we will never be able to recruit 5 star post players. Anyone who doesn't agree is a sunshine pumper and probably loved Kragthorp!
