I was able to watch Donovan and the Jazz play the Timberwolves last week with the Minnesota crew doing the telecast and they talked about Gorgi for a few minutes. The host said he really liked gorgi, has awesome work ethic, does the little things they aren't in the box score and generally loved everything about him and was bummed that his playing time this year has gone down.

Then he said when the T-Wolves and Thibs brought in Taj Gibson, and thus a player who plays the same spot as Gorgi, Gorgi was benched by Thibs but gave him no reason or no avenue to try to work his way back into the rotation. The host said Thibs basically shut Gorgi out and gave him no information which definitely effected Gorgi's psyche.

But since they fired Thibs, the host said Saunders has been way more open with Gorgi, has defined his role and Gorgi is back playing again and contributing. Glad to hear. If Gorgi stays healthy he'll make over $100 million in his career being a solid second stringer. not bad for a guy who started playing bball not to long ago.
