Inevitably, I’m reaching the conclusion that the only trick in the staff’s bag is to get DJ Wagner to reclassify if we want anything successful out of 2022.
We just aren’t getting the visits from any of the top transfer portal guards to my knowledge, so if the fact that people expect us to get a post season ban is too much to overcome, I think you gotta dip in and get DJ to reclassify.
We keep hearing names that we’ve reached out to but no visits or commitments are in sight on anybody that can handle the ball. I have a feeling we’ll have a rough year 1 but with a top flight 2023 class the staff can go after.
I expect it to look sort of like satterfield’s first year. Have to make lemonade out of the lemons that are left out there that are attainable, but progressively get more steam on the recruiting trail for the years down the road.
