Sananda Fru

His highlights are too much….I am afraid my expectations for how good this guy will be can’t be met. lol
I know what you mean. I'll keep my expectations in check until I see how he does in actual college games next season but the potential for him to be good is definitely there.

The size, length, and athleticism appears promising.

I have this fantasy that Fru can start at the 4, paired with a talented big man at the 5. Our issues inside would be gone.

If Fru is better then Pryor… I’ll be shocked… but very happy
Right. Pryor can shoot. He can drive with the ball in his hands. He has a lot of experience. Fru will be new to this system and to NCAA BB. I hope he is good enough to play quality minutes. I don’t have expectations he will walk in here and start from day 1.

Everybody CAN shoot but not everyone should.

Isn’t Pryor a career 43% shooter and 30% from three? I don’t want to beat up one of our guys too much but that isn’t exactly “shooter” percentages.

The RS 5 man has great passing skills. I think there is real potential here, for an upgrade when comparing to the last season. And that's not to criticize the guys they played hard. I'm hoping Fru comes with a little edge to him. I don't mean hot head but just a tough mentality. I feel like when we lost Pryor we lost that type of guy you gotta have on the front line.

Fru is new to the system, but he has 2 years of experience, 1 year as a starter, in Germany’s top pro league. He’s a very unusual first year NCAA player. I believe he’ll start, it’s just not clear in which position. I love Pryor, but he is coming off of a serious injury so we will see how effective he is.
