Blah.. blah... blah... we were up 12. The Coach has to figure out why the team can’t hold leads..We’re just not very good. Our guards are D2 caliber and the bigs are soft.
Perhaps they can’t hold leads because the guards are D2 caliber and the bigs are soft?Blah.. blah... blah... we were up 12. The Coach has to figure out why the team can’t hold leads..
Agree. Lack of depth from Perry and VJ is an absolute killer. Second half fatigue is affecting second half shots. No legs = poor perimeter shooting.Perhaps they can’t hold leads because the guards are D2 caliber and the bigs are soft?
Don’t understand not giving Perry and VJ SOME minutes. Gotta get the starters some rest. Perry has been playing better and neither’s confidence is going to get any better never getting in.Agree. We were up 12 because 95% of our shots were 3s, and they were going in before the half. They made adjustments, we didn’t and that’s in part because our front court doesn’t know how to work the post.Blah.. blah... blah... we were up 12. The Coach has to figure out why the team can’t hold leads..
Double-edge sword there. Yes, they need a break but if the guys that go in turnover the ball, etc. the games over even earlier. Neither of those guys have earned minutes. Just a fact.Don’t understand not giving Perry and VJ SOME minutes. Gotta get the starters some rest. You are absolutely correct...CC, Nwora, Sutton are gassed with no breaks.

I agree...we are not using the bench enough...I think it is a mistake.Don’t understand not giving Perry and VJ SOME minutes. Gotta get the starters some rest. Perry has been playing better and neither’s confidence is going to get any better never getting in.

Our bench stinks. You think Mack forgot how to coach? While there is nothing wrong with criticizing and questioning him I think he’s using who he can trust. Perry and VJ bring maybe decent defense, but that’s it. Both are shaky with the ball and are offensively challenged.I agree...we are not using the bench enough...I think it is a mistake.
They beat UNC for a full game.. or don’t you remember? Was that our super bowl?Perhaps they can’t hold leads because the guards are D2 caliber and the bigs are soft?
Yes, I remember. I also remember that UNC shot 34% for the game (13% from 3 - missing 19 of 22 mostly wide open attempts) and missed 10 free throws - including several front ends. They beat UNC for a full game.. or don’t you remember? Was that our super bowl?
Couldn't agree more. There were guys in the 1st half having great performances. They needed help in that 2nd half. The scoring drought by the whole team is what cost them the victory.
The recipe of the UNC game was followed in the Duke, FSU and Virginia game not to mention VT and NC State. The only difference was the coaching staff failed to make necessary adjustments. Players didn’t just stop playing.Yes, I remember. It was a great win to be sure but, UofL played their best full game of the season and UNC their worst.
You’re right. Mack should have made those teams continue to miss open shots like he did with UNC.The recipe of the UNC game was followed in the Duke, FSU and Virginia game not to mention VT and NC State. And yet Jerome and Guy were 4-22.. Do you always put so much thought behind your responses? You’re right. Mack should have made those teams continue to miss open shots like he did with UNC.
And yet - UVA’s top three scorers shot 22-29 (75%) for a combined 52 points, equaling UofL’s team total. Jerome and Guy could have been 1-22 and Louisville still would have lost. Do you always put more effort into being smug than being correct? And yet Jerome and Guy were 4-22.. Do you always put so much thought behind your responses?
