So at the beginning of the Saints game they introduce the starting lineup. Why did Teddy Bridgewater say he's from his high school and not University of Louisville??
On Twitter there were many UofL fans that seemed pretty upset about him saying his high school. I found their reaction kind of sad.
Those are the stupid fans that do not watch football on a regular to see that players mention their high schools all the time SMH.
It pi$$ed me off I'll admit.
So, I'm "sad".
There's very few reasons to watch NFL games anymore.
What’s Twitter good for if not faux / manufactured outrage?Yes, Twitter was definitely "abuzz" about him not saying University of Louisville. WAY overblown, IMHO. Many of the players give shout outs to their high schools. I'm sure that meant a lot to the Miami Northwestern program and fans. And BTW, that's not a bad thing for UofL recruiting, in the Miami area, to have a former player mention his high school. The Miami area recruits all know Teddy played at UofL.
