So glad Ryan was red-shirted last season to give him an opportunity to learn the system and gain some strength. He hit two BIG three pointers tonight. Kid can shoot and had a couple of heady plays.

Just needs some more in game experience and hopefully he can provide a dead eye 3 point threat- and more. Right now he just needs to be able to give some quality guard minutes off the bench which he did tonight.

He's got college game.Might never get to the next level, but he fits good in this one.I like to watch players that understand the game, understand good shot selection, help defense, making a pass to get an easy one.He fits the game in college.

McMahon is going to get some opportunities.

You get the feeling he is going to make more crucial plays/buckets this season for this team. Future looks bright for him as Cardinal. Glad we have him.

Confidence builder tonight.

I was glad when Pitino signed him and he definitely wasn't ready last year. But he is showing that he can contribute this year. Great shot, smart player and a good ball handler. He will get some steals and deflections, pick up some loose balls and not make a lot of stupid mistakes.

He's small and so, he'll be at a disadvantage against bigger, athletic guards. Pitino will just have to pick good spots for him this year.

Ryan is the gritty kid who won't give up. Reminds me of Travis Ford in some ways. He's undersized and a bit slow but his basketball IQ is very high, which means he's usually in the right spot to make a play. The kid has a pure looking jump shot with perfect form too.

He will play more and more as his defensive posture improves. Glad he's on the roster.

Nothing but net !!! He has a really quick release. Spaulding, Mahmoud and Ryan were really impressive last night.

I'm not sure where the notion that he is slow comes from. He's not Russ Smith but, he's every bit as fast as our current 1.

Maybe true. It just seems to me he's a bit slow at times. Maybe it's just me.

I like it. He looks like a late game option. This is a nice player to have available against teams that can't exploit him at this time. With all that shot blocking behind him, and fouls to give, he could be very effective for this team this year.
