As I recall it, it was Swopeshires' fault for allowing his head to get in the way of Cousins forearm/elbow. All my UofK friends told me that was the case.
No arena that size should have benches. I've only been to one game in Rupp, but seating was awful. At least Yum has all seats.
I see that 6 years later, you all still completely ignore the knee to Cousins jaw. I was sitting front row for that game, and that scrum happened directly in front of me, i saw the whole thing. As well as your players who were coached and instructed to try to rough up UK players and get in their heads, which started in the lay up lines before the game even started. Pitino knew it was his only chance, and it was a disgusting mockery of basketball. Just like every UK/UL game becuase of how totally unwatchable they are at this point.
Oh yeah since YOU say so we'll take your word for it. It's not like we didn't have good seats ourselves. IT'S CALLED TV. You gotta be kidding to bring that uahkay crap over here. coruppt arena is know through out the US as the worst arena ever, EVER. Just go back and look at the statistics to see the foul differential between the home team and the visitors. Unbelievable. No wonder Cal has a 61-1 OOC won/loss record there.

Rupp Arena has history! Its one of he great college bb arenas. Also anyone that thinks UK gets all the calls at Rupp is DELUSIONAL. We don't usually even get a fair shake at home and you would know if you ever watch our home games. Ul will not be hit with any undeserved fouls in this game.

The so called knee was incidental because cousins took down swop by reaching
through his legs, taking him down and straddling him. You wouldnt admit under oath
that cousins threw an elbow and should have been ejected. After all this 'saint' cousins,
told cow to eff off and refused to come out of a game when instructed to.

Bobcat94 your memory is a bit flawed. Yes, Jones did do exactly what you accused him of, but the major difference is that OUR STAFF and FANS called him out for his stupid and unsportsmanlike act. As opposed to the thug Cousins getting hero worship from your fanbase. Plus I would predict that Thugins will be dead broke about five years after his career is over and Swopeshire with his Bachelor's Degree from the University of Louisville and his MASTER's degree from Northwestern University will have job security and respect for the rest of his life.

If I recall correctly the Chris Jones thing was a no call. And he was called out by the commentators, his coach and the fans. And Jones himself even admitted that it was dumb after the fact.
On the other hand Swop was the one who got the tech. And the fans still defend Cousins to this day, even when he shows over and over that he is garbage of a human being.
