Roster so far

Based off what they are pursuing or releasing as interest on wings or bigs indicates they are good waiting for Ament. Ament is waiting to see with happens with rosters. I think that will become clear next week.

I do think it is extremely risky to rely on Pryor and Khalifa. Pryor is a tough call for both parties. You just don’t know how he is going recover.

Hadley sounds like he is deciding if he even wants to play next year. You give him time but that needs to be decided next week as well.

They both come back not sure who they could add just not enough room.

Get me a waterbug type pg,maybe 5'10-6' who can create and cause issues with speed and/or who matches up defensively against opposing guard of like stature.

I know we've got guards, but this would be a chess piece that maybe comes in handy if we have to slow down somebody who's killing us getting in the paint.

With the front court we have at this moment, do we have enough to compete with the top teams? Do we have enough height, size, scoring, rebounding, and defense?

Not sure because Fru, Khalifa, and Pryor are all kind of unknowns for different reasons. Two are coming off of injuries and Fru hasn't played a college game before. Scott, unless he makes huge strides in the off season will still be a liability on offense.

I'd also like some more size at SF to go along with Hadley.

I would like a veteran PG to spell Mikel when he sits or is in foul trouble but I doubt any decent PG will want to come to play spot minutes with the loaded back court the Cards have now.

I kinda agree, but I’m not sure we have to have that veteran PG cuz all 4 of the other guards… (our red shirt and 3 portal guys) they all have as good or better handles then Fat. So I think we’re good there. And honestly Ament, Pryor, and or Hadley are all capable of bringing the ball up court.

As I watched Clayton Jr dissect Auburn with pure speed, that's when I thought about maybe having a lock down type defensive guard like Chucky. A terrier that will be able to stay in front of a guy like Clayton,if needed.

The Guard need is tricky. What does Kobe really bring to the table? Heck, I have zero clue. Could his role be a ball handler and defensive pressure guy? I think we need a wing/PF before another guard though.

Kobe's last year at CofC in 2023, he averaged 21 minutes, 10 PPG, 51 FG%, 43 3pt%, 80 FT%. 4 rebounds and 2 assists per game.

He's 6'3 185.

I think he's going to fit right in. He can obviously shoot.

Rogers he is your back up PG. They are good there plus all the other transfers can help in a pinch specifically McNeely.

This seems to be a wait and see. Currently not any bigs that beat out Khalifa or Scott. Pryor and Fru at the 4.

This will boil down to Hadley and Pryor decisions. If they stay the roster is basically set.

I consider Ament a long shot at this point. I think he may end up at the highest bidder that isn’t even on his current list. Duke is going to reload. They will probably be more portal impact guys this go around because there is no Flagg in this class. Ament is a talent but he is probably going to struggle with the transition. The physical part of college is a question mark.

Portal wise there aren’t that many wings in the 6-7 to 6-10 range that excite me. Hadley leaves love to get the Alabama kid. There are far more guards 6-4 to 6-6 range in this portal. Pierre from Jacksonville St is a good example. He isn’t going anywhere that he isn’t the guy though. High shot volume player.
