2012 - Committed to Louisville then decommitted. Committed to NC State.
2013 - Louisville wins National Championship. NC State flames out in the 1st round to Temple.
2014 - Transfers to UConn. UConn wins national championship. Purvis sits out due to transfer rule
2015 - NC State in tournament as an 8 seed. UConn doesn't make NCAA field.

That IS a pretty comical set of cosmic circumstances.

I don't know what to think of this guy.

He was supposed to be a top shelf talent but his crusade has been a weird one.

Now he's going to either head pro early or toil for a team that plays in half empty gyms against garbage opponents until hitting the pros.

I have not been very impressed when I have watched him play. I don't think he is the player he was made out to be in High School.

His is a case of "you make your own luck".

Yeah there is definitely some of that going on with this situation.

Wasn't he joined at the hip with Tim Fuller? Where is he now?
Missouri, but MU is dumping him this year because they think he might be shady.

Had Purvis stuck with UofL, we might be talking about him and Rozier and the best backcourt in the country. He was a legit talent, with the decision making of a legit prima donna

Congrats dude, someone over at the Cayuts board took your post (used the same subject line and all) and posted it over there.

I would be flattered if I were cuzi.

You know, between this kid and Fab Melo Pitino must have the best radar in sports. We are lucky to have a guy like RP who can at least see trouble before it gets him sanctioned. Think about that the next time somebody is calling for Ricks' head.

This is the greatest day of my life. Beyond the day I got married, the birth of my kids and that time I won the in-classroom 4th grade spelling bee, this is the single greatest accomplishment I have ever achieved.

Everything will all be downhill from here. I will relish this while I can.

No doubt. Saw him in the AAC Campionship game against SMU and he was awesome ! Ho Hum, another one that got away. What's new?

I peeked over there to look at the post. They didn't even cite the source. Total plagiarism. If I was Ashley Judd I would sue.
