The courier article today is a jumbled mess that is click bait only. He isn't on tape. The only reason his name came up in the Bowen deal was because Dawkins was boasting he talked to Rick. I serious doubt Rick talked with someone he barely knew about paying a player $100K. I don't believe Rick was directly or will be directly linked to Bowen when it is all said and done. While the Bowen issue is a problem, the bigger issue is Fair is on tape discussing another player for 100K. That is a problem for any school moving forward. How do you trust him to hire good assistants? Plus the Powell scandal.

I will be shocked if a Power 5 school hires him in this kind a environment. That school will get roasted by the media.

Michigan State is in as big a mess if not bigger than we are and they just gave their football coach an extension! Arizona is 100% behind Sean Miller, Auburn can’t even get their own basketball coach to sit down and talk with their administration. Are the media killing or roasting any of them? The only way a school hires Pitino, is if Tom Jurich is the AD. And I don't see anyone beating Jurich's door down trying to hire him.

All your examples are coaches that have never had any issue at their program. Rick was given that same level of confidence with Jurich and if the FBI issue was the first he would have been given that kind of protection too. With that said your statement about money and winning carry weight.

It is much different hiring a guy that is clearly in trouble with the NCAA. He still has to serve a 5 game suspension and then another one for the FBI mess. I am just saying the media and the fans of the university will make this an interesting story to watch.

It appears Georgia is floating Pitino's name out there. I will still be shocked and I really shouldn't be if he gets hired by a Georgia type Power 5 school. I am going to fascinated by ESPN's response to Georgia's interest and if they hire him.

I think it's funny that people actually thought CRP wouldn't get job offers. I am upset with the situation here but he is a good coach. I will be surprised if he ends up at Georgia or any place in the SEC. He hated travel in the SEC going to all those cow towns.

He would probably get a hero's welcome if he walked back into Rupp Arena, even if he did so as an opposing coach. He almost single handedly ruined the program of UK's biggest rival.
