Was facing a staff overhaul, which meant firing his son. He retired instead. Mark Stoops, oddly, is a candidate to replace him. That would mean Neal Brown to UK, most likely.

I’d bet on Mario Cristobal heading to the U

Richt is only 58. I'm wondering if this is an Urban Meyer from Florida type "retirement".

They will have all kinds of options that is for sure. Recruiting is the name of the game no better place than South Florida.

I always thought Richt was “too nice” for the Miami job. If they want to get back to dirty play and bending academic rules, Porky is their man.

Doesn’t Ky have one of the lowest team GPAs in the $EC/P5?

He definitely teaches thug antics, a hallmark of Miami past.

Idiot yut fans already on record as saying that they feel good about Porky staying as the Miami job is “not a step up from Kentucky”.

You just can’t make this stuff up...

This year was their limit, Miami can win national championships. With that being said, surely they won’t settle for Stoops.

Miami is a step down from Ky??

What is in the weed these rubes are smoking?

If I were a Miami fan and they introduce Porky as the next coach, I’d turn in my season tickets.

Doesn’t he still have a huge buyout? He’s definitely not worth paying a buyout for, very blah.

Right - LOL - stupes is going to get drilled in their bowl game and then next year they are 4-8, 5-7 with him back on the hot seat.

I think your somewhat uninformed about what UK has coming back in the trenches. You won't see a 4-8 team

He’s very aware, Josh Allen opened up everything for the rest of your defensive line. On offense, you lose the first team all American and right tackle, that’s from a line that was masked by Snells ability to break tackles. You’ll probably win six games, only because you don’t ever play another OOC team that’s decent, and you’ll have 8 home games.

I understand your point but I think you're going to find the defensive front 7 more than capable next year. If you can stop/slow down the run you can be in games. As for the offensive line, there is solid depth with reps that again i don't think as non fans you're aware of. All I'm saying is don't be surprised if KY is an 8 win team next year.

Don’t be surprised if they’re not.
