If you had told me that one Louisville player was picked No. 16 and the other was early 2nd round, I would have bet $100 that it was Trezl picked first and then Terry (as projected). I think we were all shocked to see Montrezl fall 10-17 spots from where he was being projected.
So, I have to ask the question because I haven't seen it posted anywhere. How much, if any, did the "incidents" of what happened at WKU and him being stripped as the team Captain effect his draft status? Plus, there was the incident in the Miami game where Trezl threw the ball hard right at the guy's face and Jim Larranaga called him out in the post-game.
At the time, they weren't big issues for UofL fans, but, both instances received national media coverage at the time. And if you're an NBA exec, you don't necessarily know the background info that we do, you just know that during the season he was associated with story lines that weren't great.
