Questions about Lady Cards

Thinking all things Cards, I was looking at the other site for the Lady Cards. Had no choice because there is NOTHING on this site about the ladies. A couple of things have me perplexed about the roster. I knew Taja Cole transferred but is Erin DeGrate gone also? She's not on the other site's roster. They have the transfer Taylor Johnson but not DeGrate. They don't have any of the freshmen on the roster either.

But on one of their articles about the newcomers arriving on campus, they don't mention Bioanca Dunham. The 3 star recruit who was supposed to be a steal for Coach Walz. Is she not coming? I googled both her and DeGrate and there's no updated info on them.

It's so frustrating that with the ladies program now one of the elites in the women's game, we fans can't get updated or complete info from the only two websites that cover Louisville Cardinals sports teams. Does anybody know anything about this roster which appears to have 15 players?

Where did you see anything about DeGrate. I can't believe there's nothing written about a player leaving and why. I think I know why because the two 6'4 girls coming in are much better and would have gotten the minutes. Don't know why Fuehring would leave. She's going to be needed.

Check out the link that real2it provided to your initial post (Cardinalcouple blogspot). They have verified that DeGrate is transferring. That's not where I initially read it. I think it was discussed on the Cardinals Fan Zone, a closed group on Facebook, that any fan can join. I can not find any thing to confirm or deny what Fuehring's status is. The real loss in my opinion is Taja Cole. We may have better talent coming in, but she showed a lot of potential this past year.

That's because in all honesty very, very few people care anything about women's basketball. It's just a horrible sport to watch

The only thing horrible about women's BB is the officiating. Beyond that it has become fun to watch. If you go to a game and expect men on the court you'll be disappointed. But the women's game has improved greatly. I have season tickets to both and enjoy attending both. And it's s heck of a lot cheaper.

There are no search hits on that webpage for the word "degrate".

And I'd welcome the addition of a women's basketball forum to this website...
