I think we are a deserved, slight, underdog, to Northern Iowa tonight. They are a well coached team, that does everything well. Pass the ball, set (and use) screens, rebound, shoot, play D ... just a tough tough out.
Which player has to step up for us to have a chance at taking them out?
For me, it is Quentin Snider. If he does what he did Friday, I think we'll have a great chance at advancing. He played within himself, but wasn't afraid to take the shot when it was there. Finishing with 16 points ,he was obviously very important to our success.
Obviously, we need Terry, Montrez and Wayne to make their contributions too ... but even if they do, in my opinion, without another Quentin performace, I think we'll come up short.
