There has to be accountability for these refs who continue to blow calls especially those that determine who wins the game.
Ref calls a phantom foul with half a second remaining in a tie game. Replay after replay shows there was no foul and the ref was on the other side of the goal and obviously didn't see what he thought he saw.
Coach Capel and the Pitt players had to be restrained. ND made one FT with half a second on the clock. The Irish won because of that foul call.
Wouldn't it be something if that ref came out and apologized and admit he was wrong? He's human and he makes mistakes, but nothing ever comes from things like this and the horrible calls continue. Just look at the women's game and remember that intentional foul called against Louisville last season?
