Watched the final few plays of the Pasadena Bowl on KET today as the 1970 team was driving for a touchdown to win the game. On the second to last play John Madeya threw a pass to Tom Jesukitus who ran around behind the line of scrimmage before throwing a pass to Cookie Brinkman for a touchdown to win the game. Of course two forward passes was illegal and the Cards were penalized and the game against Long Beach State and 'Superman' Leon Burns ended in a tie. That play was emblematic of the Corso years as something wild was always happening in the games.
