Plenty of information and opinion to absorb these days from the talking heads. I like 93.9's The Drive w/ Mark Ennis, but with R&R's return to 790, I find myself now listening to them again. Those two shows going head to head kind of isn't fair to the listener, IMO. What's the best morning show? I'm usually tuned into Howard Stern, but with all that's going on, I may need to alter my routine. Howie or Deener?

I’d love to see “The Drive” w/Mark Ennius move to the noon slot on 98.9 opposite Nick Coffey. NC might be a good guy but his knowledge of sports is lacking and his ability to hold to “sports” related stuff is awful. Mark is a real pro and 93.9 would rule the roost from 10 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. I’m not too crazy about R&R but they will grow on me. The guys they replaced were the worst EVER even worse than BobbyV. Actually I really like Howie best in the 7:00 a.m. slot.

Bobby V and Lachlan suck hugely. Period. Neither of those guys would make a pimple on Howie or Mark Ennis’ butt. First, good ole’ “NY” Bobby can’t find his butt with both hands and Lachlan is a total know nothing about sports. Just my own opinion.

I like Lachlan because he isn't beholden to any fan base (or pressure from certain AD's) here so he says what he thinks. Bobby V is just a best alternative at noon. He brings a great perspective on basketball, talks about baseball and has the best national guests. The round table he leads is best segment on radio. His football knowledge is lacking though.
Jason Anderson Is the best in the 3 - 6 timeslot, he doesn't always say what most people want to hear, but I'd rather hear the straight scoop than some sugar coated BS like Ramsey slings around.
I usually listen to Deener in the mornings in the 7 - 10 time slot but usually turn him off daily because he's going completely off the handle on a caller..
Even though I'm a die hard CARDS fan I listen to Matt Jones 10 - 12.. He actually has a pretty good show, they're all just average Joe's on there, except Drew Franklin who is a total douche bag. Matt covers a lot of ground on his show, it's about 60% sports and 40% something completely off the wall. When he starts hammering on UofL i turn him off, but honestly he only hammers us when we're in the news and we're an easy target.
I wouldn't listen to soap box Bobby V if he was the only sports guy on radio..

I've never even heard of Jason Anderson. What channel is he on? And, dude, come on. You can't give f**k head Jones any ratings. Seriously.
Anderson is by far the most knowledgeable and most prepared of the hosts. My only issue with him is that when he is interviewing people he takes forever asking the question because he generally answers his own question while asking it.
He is on ESPN 680 in Louisville.
Jones is not nearly the anti Christ people make him out to be.. He's actually just a big nerd..
