One that we will remember for a long time.

Gabriel has a broken clavical (collar bone). It happened on the very last play of the game when he was attempting to "make something happen". Ain't that always the way. Sorry for the kid but he is playing big time college football.

GKnight: Congratulations on the P5 entrance in Big 12; you guys deserve it and I will be pulling for you the rest of the way. UCF came in here a few years back with Bortles and clipped our wings 38-35 with 23 seconds to go, broke our hearts.
Like I've said previously,

The new Big 12 interests me more than the current ACC. WVU, Cincy, Houston, and UCF just feel like there's a more natural connection to our program. The basketball league with Kansas, Baylor, Texas Tech, WVU, Iowa State, etc just would be more exciting than weeknights against Boston College. And i'd feel like we mattered more and could compete in the football league. Matchups against Iowa State, OK State, Baylor, etc. would be fun too.

The money will keep us in the ACC, but that new Big 12 sure would be fun if we were in the mix.

I have nothing but respect for the aforementioned B12 additives, but aside from UC and WVU, the travel west of the Mississippi River is not conducive to UL, or the ACC. WVU fans will tell you what a disaster it has meant to their program in terms of travel. They miss the backyard brawl with Pitt and the rivalry with VT, UL and BC.

UC is just happy to be P5, but I can assure you that WVU, UC and UCF each wanted an ACC invitation for a number of reasons, but their efforts were met with no encouragement.

But he gave an interview on late Saturday and he pretty much indicated that his season might be over. That's a tragedy but this is big time college football and stuff like this happens.
