On a positive note: the freshmen stepped up here

It was a big stage, and, after his initial mistake on a busted play, Jackson played a great game. The freshmen receivers, Samuel, Peete, and Smith as well as TE Micky Crum played well. The CBS crew complimented them quite often during the game.

We lost...don't do Moral Victories...Beat Houston..,

Sure we lost, but that's a positive post. Love that second half Freshman directed, high energy, comeback. Whoops (we Lost). Don't be so grumpy;)

Lol...just a question...if I'm grumpy just imagine Petrino...missed a Golden Opportunity and really they are not that much better than us...the #6/7 team in the country from the mighty SEC...gggrrr

Just pointing out the good, I saw the bad like you.

Public, t's not like the 3 pt. loss to a ranked U because of the continued kicking to return master Devin Hester and that dropped game-clinching interception. That cost us a BCS Bowl bid.

I'll look on the bright side on this one, unless of course this cost us an invite to the play-offs. :)

I will say this...1st impressions I really like this Freshmen class

Player Evaluation, System Fit and Development are IMO much more important than what a Rivals, Scout, 247 or ESPN Recruiting Scout opinion....tell them that all the time...

Yeap...But JOKE, C1180, UKEric etc..etc...etc...DON'T want to hear it...So we'll just have to SHOW them...AGAIN...In November!!!

:D

The reframe now is if UofL played an SEC Schedule...guess what...we play in the ACC...now give Petrino and Jurich the SEC $$$ and recruiting brand...be careful of what you wish for...TJ & Bob Petrino play for keeps...

I am not into moral victories either. Petrino is paid to be grumpy about it, and to fix it. I am not, and I sure as hell can't fix the stuff that needs correcting so we can win the next game. I do know these freshman are good, and that will be a big asset for the game against Houston.

I suspect a couple of guys on the team might be feeling grumpy after what Petrino will have them do for their mistakes. If it works, they won't make the same ones against Houston.
