With Burgess, Keenum and Church, it looks like Sat has stepped up his oline recruiting.

What are the chances of getting Sanker? I watched some of his highlights and it looks like he can play DT too.

i don’t think Keenum has committed yet, was told from someone who I would consider a unreliable source lol who said he heard - so it’s third hand info, but anyway he said that the kid wanted to commit or tried to but there was something that needed to be addressed first. When pressed he had no clue what the delay was. Also hear he might be 50/50 between us and UK. He guessed that the staff ask him to wait and that may have pushed UK to the top of his list.
I mean there are some solid OL guys that they feel real good about we all know the names, but I don’t think that the staff would not accept his commitment. Either way the overall OL recruitment this year - at this point looks to be the best it’s ever been.
But to answer your question on Sanker, I think he’s a lock along with the Cali big dog.

Thanks for the info, I have been off the board for quite some time so I'm catching up right now.

Announced for (signed ?) with UK today. Looked like a good prospect to me.

Peace

Oh yea he’s a solid Prospect. I wanted to get him as well, he’s a good pickup for your Cats. But like I said, he was the weakest of all our OL recruits - I’m my opinion. And like one of the players parents that was on the official visit at the same time he was. One of our other OL commits abused him in a little one on one drill while on the visit. That guy was our lowest ranked commitment to this point. So I think we will be rock solid on the OL without him for the next several years. So it’s no big loss.
Oh and yes he committed, they can’t sign until Dec. that’s the early signing period

What I'm reading is that the staff is looking at him as a center. I'm thinking he likely redshirts this year for no other reasons than to grow a bit and learn that position. Any kid with dreams of a pro Oline slot either has to be a freakishly good tackle or someone that can fill a center/ guard hybrid slot.

Lol...Wildcard is a great poster, but he is a loyal Cards fan. He shares on TOS, but he is Card through and through.

That is 100% correct; WildCard is a huge UL fan and he and his wife have supported the Cards for decades.

Thanks for "clarifying" my position on the game of football within the Commonwealth. There are good teams at UofL or UK every now and then but consistently good football is hard to find.. Well, there is Trinity HS.

Peace
